Pacesetter headers

Are they any good? I see they are cheaper than other brands for headers.

If i get chrome or painted headers instead of ceramic, will the headers still be fine? Don't care if the paint or chrome peel, just that ceramic cost more. Will non ceramic headers crack, or is it just that the chrome or paint peels off?

I've been running the pacesetter LT's for a couple years only problem with mine is the drivers side hangs about .5" lower so it drags sometimes. Otherwise fitment isn't bad at all

It's just the paint they use to keep them from rusting in storage, it melts off the first time you drive the car

Size and fit not perfect.
MAC ceramic headers are perfect. If you call MAC and they are out something you want, they always give you upgrades, work out some kind of deals. I like dealing with them.

I've been running Pacesetter shorty headers for about a year. Paint peels off pretty quickly. Fitment is a slight issue only in that the engine oil dip stick has to be moved around a little when installing. Also, the gaskets they come with are terrible. They went bad within the first 6 months. Other than that these headers seem pretty solid.
