03-04 Cobra Fog Light Install on V6

I'm changing my front end bumper to a 03-04 cobra bumper. I have a 2000 convertible v6. Can anybody help with a basic run through of the install of the fog lights and wiring and what is needed? Thanks!

I believe the wiring harness, relay and switch are the same for the Cobra fogs as they are for the GT/Mach 1 fogs. The pigtails are slightly different as the bulbs are different than the regular fog light bulbs.

I would recommend picking up the proper pigtails from Latemodel Restoration or somewhere..they aren't very expensive and will save time/headaches down the road.

Below is a link to VMP's page with a full fog light install write up. The wiring portion should be identical for both Cobra fogs and regular fogs.

Keep in mind also that the cobra bumper will fit much closer to the stock v6 bumper. You may have to relocate the bumper top posts back ~.5" or so to re-clip the bumper for better fitment between the hood and bumper.

Thanks, I have seen vmp's write up already but I was confused because I know some models come with the wiring set up already and some don't. I'm assuming that mine dose'nt come with anything ?

No, as far as I know the only cars that came pre-wired were the early SN95 v6's, the GTS's, and the 01 Bullitts.

All the 99-04 v6's were not wired for fogs.
