Reduce weight

I wanted to see in what ways can weight be reduced? I was thinking aluminum driveshaft and fiberglass hood. Any other ways?

My fiberglass Cervinis hood is twice as heavy as factory.
Seriously..weight reduction? You want to shave off .001 seconds? Eat salads, only put 1/4 tank of gas. Don't use windshield washer fluid. Pre 2006 V6? Save all your money by NOT buying all that aluminum and fiberglass and buy a turbo or supercharger.
Spending all kinds of money to end up 100 lbs lighter is a huge waste.

A little off base. No need to spend a lot of money. The 99-04s have a lot of excess weight on them you can take off.

Spare tire
Jack
Rear seats
Sound deadening

Then you can do parts like tubular K member and A Arms. Those stiffen the suspension as well as cut a bunch if weight.

Also a bunch of extra metal through the car you don't need. I know a guy with a new edge who got his to 2300lbs

Why are you trying to drop weight? It won't be worth it for you to drop enough thay will be noticeable. Work on power and suspension first. Thats what your car needs
