2003 mustang v6 traction control/ abs

Alright so for quite some time now I have been slowly modding my mustang up, yeah it's a v6, it's the base model, cloth seats, & no Mach sound system, mine didn't come equipped with traction control, nor abs. The lights on the dash don't light up when starting my car or spinning in the rain for traction. My buddies 01 doesn't have leather and has the Mach sound system and traction control and abs and the same rims mine had. Can any one explain this? Since I don't have it, it's left off all the time? If that's the case id easily be able to do a burnout which mine does not. Help please

Well if yours is an automatic with no moddifications breaking the tires loose is gonna be hard. My sixer cant break loose with a windstar intake and duel exhaust.

Yeah, mine is mostly stock and I can break the tires loose just by slamming the gas while in drive. I also have 182,432 miles

I can break them loose if the tires are cold, if I'm in a turn at low speed and just slam it, or if the asphalt is old. But to do a burnout, other than this one time in the city, where I had just started my car a minute before, you just have to power brake it.

1st mustang, first car- bought mid November 2014- 2004 v6 convertible w/ 85k miles, v8 exhaust, fast enough to get in trouble...

Are you talking about the traction control light on the gauge cluster? I don't think they have traction control.

As far as spinning tires, it's probably more that the gears are stock. If you had lower gears like 3.73 or 4.10's, you'd probably be able to do burn out without power braking.

Nope his is completely stock, he has the availability of turning on or off traction control. No Gears, exhaust, intake, no tune. Completely stock.

I break tires loose by shutting off the traction control. If your traction control is working you'll be able to hear it when it's working and then the light comes on. Maybe you have a bulb out or fuse. Maybe the thing is unhooked in your dash. Just in case anyone doesn't know: Don't use traction control for snow when you're stuck. IT'S ONLY FOR RAIN. You're tires don't move if you're stuck in snow with the traction on.

I thought so. That's funny last night I was thinking about that and now here is a post.
You just don't have one and I've heard that is true for some. They never made that option for certain years, A new option for New Edge models. I did a search on Google to see if I was right and it seems that's what everybody else is saying.
