Fog Lights: Plastic vs. Glass

I was thinking of getting some fog lights off of eBay and they are plastic lenses. I wanted to know if anyone has had any experience good/bad with plastic lenses over the glass ones on fog lights. I am doing a cobra 03-04 bumper swap. Thanks

I did the swap six months ago and I did some research, some people were complaining about the glass because they said the glass will crack easy from rocks on the roads especially driving on highways and they had to switch to plastic, other people were complaining about the plastic because it melts when they used an HIDs inside it.

Personally I went with glass, a little higher price but the quality was awesome, our roads in philly are so so bad especially after the multiple snow storms, though I didn't have any cracking issues so far, and I don't drive a lot on highways, mostly city.

So it's really up to what type of bulbs you are going to use and what type of driving and the roads conditions you are driving in.
