Best exhaust Setup

Summer is around the corner, and I want an exhaust that will get people's attention. I have a 1996 v6, links are appreciated

Get chambered mufflers regardless of your midpipe choice. Imo stay away from x-pipes. The 3.8 is high pitched enough on its own, an o/r x-pipe only makes that worse. The o/r h sounds great down low but that goes away above 2k RPMS.

Not to be negative but the 94-04 v6's don't sound good loud. I've gotten more compliments on my exhaust sounding "good for a 6" than the couple guys I know that have "loud" exhaust setups on their v6's.

I disagree sonicpony!
I have an O/R H, Chambered Mufflers, Mac Catback and it sounds very nice. Yes, it sounds a bit high pitched by 3K Rpm's but that can be toned down with cams. I've lost count on people who believe my car is a V8, and idles like one...

How often are you just sitting there at idle though...

I imagine with that setup it sounds damn good at idle. Exhaust no matter what type of car comes down to preference. I prefer my v6 quiet and mellow, no need to advertise, that's what my 4V is for

I'll make a video soon and show. Its loud while driving too, and not the ricey loud. It has a very deep aggressive tone. It sounds like a GT on idle. Me and my buddy did a comparison with his stock GT exhaust and mine. The idle was identical, and once we were driving at low rpms it sounds like a 2v.

Yes by 3k it will sound like a v6 unfortunately but with cams it tones it down
