Should I mod?

My car has recently been repainted so the body is in great condition but the motor has 270xxxkm on it.. I bored of the power but don't want to get rid of the car. Should I try to get some more power out of it?
It's all stock except for magnaflow exhaust with x-pipe, headers, and k&n intake

Should I mod?

Id keep it. Do a good tune up. Go with gears, coil pack, tuner, traction lock suspension etc. My v6 had much more pep than my stock GT.

Now my GT is going to get the same full treatment my sixxer did. But I obviously had to buy the GT. For the cost of going V8 you can make that sixxer a blast. Seems like the best choice considering you like the car.

Would gears my highway mileage? I don't care about the extra gas money, just want to be sure I'll get the power out of it.
What tuner do you recommend?

It all depends what you want to do

I will fall into the place of other V6 owners who quit. My car is also very nice, and has your typical bolt-ons but I just couldn't be hassled to shell out any more cash on a V6. I thought long and hard and realized this car is just not meant for power. With the bolts on I have and spending at least more than $1000 the car is at best a mid 15's car now compared to its stock counter part where the car is a mid 16 in a 1/4 mile

I thought to myself that it is just pointless because you shell out 1000 to a V8 of the same models, and you sure as hell seem one hell of an increase. Again this is not to discourage you, but I just want to let you know some of these things.

I said f it, I'm saving up for a V8...possibly a Cobra and keep the V6, but sure as hell not spend any more cash on modding it, besides your typical maintenance and tune-up.

You could swap in a GT rear end along with some gears. 3.73 for manual and 4.10 if auto. After that you can get it tuned. If you want any more power you'd have to go forced induction.
