You can't really!.. Not without it looking messed up!.. Might be better off just getting a used GT hood!..

I had the same hood on my old car. Bought the other style hood, and then ordered the scoop from AM, then had the car painted. It would be easier if you found a GT hood used in your color. That hood wasn't designed to have a scoop, so there isn't really anything you can do with it.

This is the hood you want to get if you want to add a scoop. It is a royal pita drilling holes and lining up the scoop. Check Craigslist for a GT hood and save yourself a huge headache.

Id just find someone to trade. Id rather have your hood any day. Your style hood was for only a couple years and for the 99 cobra. Looks way more aggressive. Especially when the car gets lowered and has a chin on the front

Here's a pic of my last one with the hood and lowered. I didn't have the chin on there at that point though.

Dang... sad to hear it wouldn't be compatible. But you guys helped me make my decision tho. if i did get a gt hood it wud cost me $150 maybe... then to paint cost me $200-300. id rather just get a carbon fiber hood instead for $500-600

I would just keep the hood over the fake hood scoop hood, if ur gonna spend all that money why not just buy a cowl hood or something better?
