Help! Right turn signal FAST while left regular speed

Good afternoon. Last few days my 2004 40th anniversary V6 has been driving me crazy. The right signal is FAST and then regular and then FAST -- it is presently in FAST mode. Probably should clarify, my family is driving me crazy mentioning it. Could there be something bigger going on? How can I fix this? Please help, I have only owned it 4 months. Got my tuner, set to street and my CAI. Love those mods. Thanks, Mark

Have you tried taking the bulb out and putting it back in? When my wife had a 2000, she had this issue. We tried that and ended up having to disconnect the battery for a bit and reconnect it.

Did you check to make sure a bulb isn't out?

People still don't know that when it blinks fast it means one of the two bulbs (front or rear) is burned out?

I had that problem w/a f150 I was working on, ended up being the grease ford put in the sockets had dried out. Cleaned up and put good dielectric grease back in sockets, he hasn't had the problem since.

I had the same issue on a Mercury Mountaineer. As it turned out, the bulb was old, probably original, and the bulb would work intermittently. I replaced both rear turn signal bulbs with new and the problem went away. Bulbs are cheap, Replace the rear and front bulbs.

I'd like to think the fast flash letting you know the bulb is out is common car knowledge, I guess I was wrong lol. Might as well replace them all.

Hey!.. We all start off some where!.. When I bought my first car I had to have a mechanic tell me why my blinker was flashing fast!.. 😏. He then had to convince me to change it out myself vs paying him $60 to do it!.. Hahahahaha.
