GT bumper

Just got a GT bumper off Craigslist for cheap and was wondering what is the cheapest way to go about sanding, priming, painting (white) and installing the bumper. Thanks ATTACH]190282[/ATTACH]

Depends on the shop you use. Around me it would be between 300 and 500 for a quality job on the bumper. Install is very easy. I had mine off and the new one on in less than 45 minutes.

You'll spend less money just taking it to get it done somewhere vs trying to do anything yourself. I mean I'd love to learn to paint too but a bumper is definitely NOT the place you start... $300-$500 is about what that would cost by me too.

I got a quote from a small company and apparently they come to my house and do it here. They quoted me $140.

Yeah, no. Do you have a paint booth at your house? I personally would keep looking. You will spend much more than 140 getting it repainted after they screw it up. Even if the had some kind of mobile booth, they would charge you more than 140...

Eh, if they have a mobile booth and are charging $140... see if they can show you some work they've done. But if they are just going to put it on a stand and spray it in your driveway... no.
