Turbo

I got a lot of questions about turbocharging my 3.8, first off a have a borg warner. I need to know how much it can handle stock and all the ins and outs what I need to upgrade and all the things I would need to complete the build

What size turbo do you have?

And are you planning on building a kit yourself or paying someone to fab one?

Experienced in welding aluminum?
It may be worth the cost of you are doing it 100% in house. But still won't be worth the power output your car can handle IMO.

T3 or t4 ?
Have you started looking at intercoolers?
Piping?
Waste gates ?
Blow off valves ?
Boost controllers if you plan on using one?

Thought about where your going to put 02's and wideband?

What size piping your going with for cold and hot side?

A lot of stuff you need to sit down and draw out first. Get a mental picture on how your going to build it.

Exhaust routing everything. Simplest way would be a front bumper exit.

Depending on what brand stuff you go with, but considering you have the turbo.

2-4K in parts

But that's the easy part.
Building one that works properly will be the tricky part.
You have to make sure everything is correct. Poor piping size or restrictive bends and or to many bends in the piping, can lead to excessive back pressure build up with a turbo. Which in turn can lift a head.

Turbo

Like I said earlier first get a mental picture in your head on how you will build it.

Look at JPC for all your parts you will need they have it all. Good prices also.
