Bama chip review

Gotta say i was curious if the reviews on American Muscle were spot on and geez they are. I installed my new chip from AM today and ran my last bit of my 87 out using the performance tune. So much nicer shifting and chirped tires alot which reminds me of my GT days. Tonight once i hit low fuel i topped off on 93 and turned the included switch over to the race tune. The difference once more is super noticable. If you have an auto mustang no matter the engine get a tune. There is nothing for that price range that will throw you in the seat of your car that hard. AM had quick turn around and i got my tuned chipped within 7 days.

That being said if you're gonna mod alot spend the extra on a tuner for ease of changing tunes. However if you're like me and won't do much more then intake and exhaust then save the money and go the chip route. Took just under 2 hours to install and worth every minute.

Hey Slo - I'm happy to hear that you're enjoying their tunes as much as I do. It's crazy to think how just one simple mod can completely change the characteristics of the car.

Drop me a line if there's ever anything I can help out with and enjoy.

Drift - Good question and any dyno shop or tuner should have the ability to rewrite tunes on an X4 or a 4bank chip but they would need to have SCT's software along with a chip burner.

Let the bama team know if you have any other questions.
