Plug in MIL Eliminators/rear O2 sensor

I installed long tube headers with a Mac Pro chamber midpipe with no cats. and I only installed my front O2 sensors. My rear sensors didn't reach to the mid pipe bungs. So I just had the muffler shop put 2 plugs in them. I obviously have a check engine light on for that reason.

My question is, do I need the rear O2 sensors? Or can I just use the MIL Eliminators for the front O2 sensors?

I believe the readings for the CEL come from the rear o2 sensors. I'm catless, and have the MIL eliminators on the rear o2's. No CEL for me. you can also just have a tuner shut off the o2's all together, unless you're using the mil eliminators to pass emissions or something.

as said MILs are for the back. youll also need the o2s in those bungs if you have a visual inspection when you go in for tags. either use mils, non foulers, or get a tune to kill the cel. i went with the tune since i also wanted to wake up my car

Idk what all is involved with a visual inspection. Do they actually look under the car? because I would probably not bring an O/R H pipe to an inspection that involved that haha

in tn they will hold a mirror under the car like a bomb squad to visually look for cats and o2 sensors. so when i had an off road prochamber on my GT i had some cat heat shields welded up around the tubing and some old o2s welded to the pipe lol. in my v6 i've had the rear o2s killed for the plug in test. right now i have all 4 cats however im going high flow cats soon (just to not kill the world with catless v6 noise lol)...
