headers on 2004 mustang 3.9

what all is involved with removing stock headers on a 2004 mustang 3.9? left side looks like will have to remove master cylinder? anyone have any info? grandsons car and he wants to fix exhaust leak.thanks for any help

I just need to know how much time will need his car

It's usually a full day project. Having a second set of hands does make it easier. A lift helps, but can br done on jacks.

Same with any engine work. Take lots of pictures, label and bag bolts.

Driver side is easier coming down and passenger up through the top.

Headers

you really need a lift jack stands are truly a PITA for doing headers. Most work needs to done from the bottom

no problem on jackstands,you just need to figure out where to put them before you start! #6 tube was broken all the way off,took about two hrs including weld time per side,my mig is the best money i ever spent on tools. As was stated left side out bottom right out the top.fairly easy repair. Work has been finished a mt now
