What parts, specifically? Driveshaft? LSD?

You're trying to convert your auto to a stick? I honestly have no knowledge on the subject and can't help you there.

As far as the two-wheel burnouts go, you'll need a limited slip differential to replace the stock open diff. But, the limited slip on the Mach 1 is 31 spline, which won't fit your sixxer's stock driveshaft (which is 26 spline), and you'd need to buy one that's 26 spline. Unless you want to also take the heavier 8.8" driveshaft from the Mach 1, but I believe you sacrifice a bit of acceleration from it, though it can withstand higher HP/TQ ratings, in case you were also planning on forced induction at some point.

I'd say, if you have the money, get the 8.8" driveshaft, the 31 spline LSD off the Mach

I was just thinking why not turn a bad situation into a good one, but now that looks like it wont be so plug and play

No, especially not the limited slip. You'd have to take out the the whole differential and move the ring and pinion gears out from the old diff to the new one and re-oil it all. For the job, my mechanic quoted me 700 dollars Of course, you'll hear of other people getting it done for 400-500, but every shop in my town has wanted upwards of six or seven hundred. As for the driveshaft swap, I think it's another couple hundred maybe two or three

But he doesn't want to pay for the whole new install, since it won't be exactly bolt-on. If he took out the whole rear end, it'd be easier, but still costly, right?

No you can unbolt the drive shaft the speed sensors brakes and the 4 control arms and everything will switch right over between the 2 cars

Well, live and learn, eh? I thought he just wanted the LSD and the trans swap. No clue how to do a trans swap though

The 3.8 and the 4.6 transmissions are not interchangeable.
The rear end, however, will bolt right up. And the front brakes will bolt right up as well.

Also the factory SRA in the Machs are 28 spline just like the GT's. They are not 31 spline so it will bolt right up with no modifications.

The 3650 will not simply bolt in however.
