Rough idling

I took off my intake manifold and valve covers to paint them the same color as the car. I cleaned out everything but my dad cleaned out the throttle body, not seeing the DO NOT CLEAN on it lol. All that was used was gas and a brush. At first the vacuum hoses weren't right but now are all right but the car will not idle. It will turn over and rev up to 3k and back down. After revving It for a few minutes it will idle around 500-700 and is super lumpy. Does anyone know what I have to do to fix this? Do I just need to buy a new IAC?

you could have a leak in the vacuum now. If it wasn't having this problem before its most likely something with what you messed with. The gas maybe could have done some damage to the hoses. Also clean the MAP sensor, sometimes if that gets dirty it can cause a rough idle. maybe some dirt could have got in the cold air intake as you had the throttle body off and the intake manifold off.

Thanks to everyone to commented. I figured it all out. Somehow I got upper intake manifold gasket bent down to where it was in the intake slot going into the cylinder. I put a new gasket on and now it's running perfectly fine
