Problem With Sequential Taillight Kit

I received a sequential kit for my 04 for Christmas, and installed it with no problems. The kit worked the first night I had it. Now, it works almost as it should, but the bulb closest to the outside of the car blinks twice: in the sequence and again with the middle bulb (of the housing). Is this an issue with the kit itself, or a wiring problem?

sounds like a kit issue in the wiring order. did you replace the flasher as well with a sequential rated flasher?

Who manufactured the kit? I would call them and let them advise what to do here.

If its the Raxiom send it back for a new one, PM an AM rep on here and you should get a RMA setup real quick.

This is another issue I have heard of with the Raxiom setup failing if it is indeed the Raxiom setup btw. There is a better kit out there for $65.

I did not replace the bulb at all, I followed the instructions with the kit and they did not say to do that. The brand of the kit is called GT Concepts, if that would help.

The Flasher he's talking about is the one that plugs into the fuse box. It slows down the order of the blinking so they look right. Otherwise they blink too fast. I had to do that with my 04. Never had them blink out of order or twice though. Are you sure you put the right wire harness on each side? They only work one way.

GT Concepts warranties the units for life so I would talk with them regarding your problem. They will fix or replace the product. Keep us informed as to what transpires. I wish to get a unit for my 2002 vert !

If they have a warranty then definitely get in contact with them and get a new kit.
