Awful exhaust note after bbk shorty headerr install

Ok so i started the job my self on my 2002. by completely removing the old 94 heAders i had and couldn't manage to get the new ones in... So had em installed and now my car sounds like its got fart cannons and ****ty honda coffee can exhaust... And a huge misfire... Which he claims isn't a leak... Horse****... But ohwell. Im embarrassed at how it sounds now. It sounded badass before with oem manifold 2 hi flow bassani cat s custome h pipe n flowmaster 40s with turn down s after the muffler. I just had got these bbk shortys for cheap $25 so figured they would only help... Nope. Is something wrong?? Please please help. To embarrassed to drive my car. Which is ****ty cuz its my pride n joy

When you say mis-fire do you mean backfire or exhaust pop? Shouldn't do that if it didn't do it before I don't think.

Figured it out... Well not really figured it but fixed it. Which is cool with me... Got new plugs and wires. Threw em on and the suddenly shaking engine no longer shook... The horrible noise and popping and hesitation and power loss. And lots of smoke...all suddenly disappeared. Crazy cuz before the header install it ran great so i dunno how all those suddenly went to crap but what ever... It runs great again and doesn't embarrass me with a fart can noise... I can rest easy. Thanks for your imput. ^

So, it was obviously a mis-fire? Glad you fixed it. Happy trails to you
