I found it when I took my center console out. It wasn't plugged into anything. And another question. What do the relays attached underneath the center console do? I have two relays mounted and one has the wires cut it looks like. I haven't driven the car in a couple months but I don't remember anything not working.

What year is your car? If it is a 94-98 the plug could be a traction control harness (if not equipped) or a for a convertible switch. I think the t/c switch was on the console near the hand brake on the older cars.

The two relays could be for optional equipment that the car doesn't have. Some v6's did not have traction control and none had the fog lights. For a couple years 94-96?, they did wire up the cars with the fog light harness/relay but no actual fog lights or switch.

I could be way off, this is simply a guess.

It's a 2000 5 speed and it has traction control that switch is on the shifter bezel area I was thinking it was for something on the gt that my car wasn't equipped with but there are no options that have buttons behind the e-brake handle that I know of...

I just picked my 99 GT up but I believe that is where my fog light switch is.

Really? I thought that switch was just above the shifter and below the radio.

Does your center console have the 12v power plug inside it? Not the one under the radio, but a second one in the rear section under the armrest?

Looks like the foglight switch. In 99/00/early 01 it was in the 94-98 location. In 01.5 it moved to the shifter bezel.

I do have a 12v plug that is right below the center console lid above the coin holders but it's wires run all the way to the front and plug in under the shifter boot and are all clipped underneath the console.
