2001 engine in 1999

I recently got 2 engines and was told they were the same year. Well turns out there not car is a 1999 and the good engine is has the 3 coil bolt, and coolant temp sensor has moved. Question is if I use the old harness and move the wires around to make the sensor work is that all I need to fix on the 1999 harness to make it work on the newer engine ?
