3.8 vs 3.9 headers (2004)

Are the headers / exhaust manifold the same for a v6 3.8 and 3.9?

Can anyone say if the sn95 headers are any better than the New Edge headers? I picked some up at the junkyard thinking they were Shortie's, then I noticed all sn95 have them.

Rumor has always been that the 1998 oem headers where the best, but I believe theyre all the same with the exception of the egr connections changed on certain years.
