need some advice

alright what should i have my rear look like?

Shorty Headers? - 3.8 Mustang Message Board
the sig on the second post of this thread or

appearance mod opinions - 3.8 Mustang Message Board
the rear on post 11?

i like both of them. i have the saleen rims and my car is silver. so tell me what you guys think. i already have the gt hood scoop and side scoops with a gt rear on the way. so basically my questions are:

shave the bumper? or fill in the mustang on the bumper?
keep my spoiler? or take it off and have the trunk repainted?
if i take the spoiler off, should i go the extra step and shave the key hole and taillight? how difficult do yall think this would be?
im definately doing the blackout taillight tint and gloss black trunk vinyl to go with it. also, what size tips should i go with on my exhaust? i wanna fill up most of the cutouts on the gt rear. do yall think 3.5 is too big? i wanna do the rolled flowmaster tips. thanks for any input guys.

Re: need some advice

3" tips, the shaved gt rear can be bough cheaper than the factory gt rear and you dont have to worry about the bodywork showing back up, i really like the second pic with the shaved 3rd brake light and key hole but it will cost a little bit to shave it all because not many people like to mess with fiberglass, i will shave the trunk for you for 500 but i dont paint anymore so zack will have to spray it at his work, ill do all the bodywork on the truck though, i get the shaved gt rear bumpers brand new ready to paint for $350 but i think that is an awesome look

well i got a friend in new orleans who is getting a new bumper for his gt. he told me that he would bring me his gt rear for $130. zack is gonna fix the dents on my driver side door and do the bumper. that second pic is the one i really like but i dont wanna spend $500 to get it shaved. ill probably just take off the ford emblem, plug the hole, and put that gloss black vinyl decal on. how much would you want to shave the gt bumper? i mean as long as someone good, like you, shaves it, do you really think itll show up again?

Re: need some advice

just go get some nightshade. Works great and you can make it as dark or light as you want. FYI, to keep it legal it needs to reflect red when a flashlight is shined in it. Make sure you clearcoat it though it makes a big difference in the end.

Re: need some advice

well i meant his window tint. sorry for the confusion. but the taillight tint is another problem. i want the blackout look but i heard it is illegal. here is where i will be ordering from: Mustang Tail Light Tint from StangMods.com so if i just do the smoked tint, how will that look with the blackout panel? and is it legal?
