Question about Overdrive light

I have a 2000 Mustang V6 Auto. It was snowing last sat. when I spun off the road because of black ice. My car still drives fine and has no noticable problems/scratches. However, now my Overdrive light on my dashboard starts to blink for 15 sec, every once in a while. My overdrive does work though, anyone have any idea why it is doing this?

It may be possible that when you spun off the road that a elec. connection was unplugged?I would probably have the computer read to see if theres any codes, or ask someone from ford. Maybe someone else on here can help out more And welcome to the site

It's an electrical problem, and a general mantience issue. Thus I left a shadow in the GM... Now someone answer this question.

no its a drivtrain problem.
My father had this issue in his mazda, let me ask him how it was resolved. I know it wasnt something electrical. The tranny had to be dropped and repaired for something.

Well I just called a service tech and he said its either:
1. Its wet and the wires aren't connecting well
2. Wire came out
3. Sensor

So its not that bad. He just told me to get it up and dry it off with a airhose.
