exhaust system

I have a 99 v6 with GT take offs.......

I am considering improving my exhaust system.....

I am considering MAC headers, MAC H-Pipe, and flowmasters....

1. What kind of hp gains can I expect?

2. Where is a good place to buy the parts I need?

3. I went with flowmasters because I heard from others it gave a good throaty sound. Is there a better ("badder") sounding muffler?

Please help...

Do you think the headers, h pipe, and flowmasters are a good route?

Get Warlock Mufflers, they are uncappable, which makes them like straight pipes, and they sound good capped too. Headers won't give you decent gains unless you are running a blower or turbo. Hope this helps...

don't bother with headers for a long time. i wouldn't mess with the exhaust if i was you. there is plenty else to be done to a v6 for a better bang for the buck.

What would you suggest? I have 4.10 gears, t-lok, CAI, UDP, chip.........

would just an H-pipe work?

Would you suggest an off road h pipe or the h pipe with two converters?

Performanace and sound is important
