Reflash question

If i swap to a 5 speed can i just reflash my chip to make my computer think its a 5 spd instead of an auto or do i need an entirely new EEC?? Also, if my chip was flashed by fordchip to start off with, are they they only ones who can do the reburn? Im liking what Im hearing about SCT and the fact that some of the guys that worked for fordchip are there now makes me happy

Yes, we can do this or we can reflash your actual computer. Well we are not AT SCT, we are an SCT dealer, I used to work for FordChip and I was involved in the pre-production and development of the SCT software...

I also have access to all teh FordChip files, so this is not an issue, and we are among the only ones that can reflash EEC's w/o the use of a Microtuner.

ok, but I wont want to have downtime in my car, so can all the reflashing just be done using my chip or do I have to have the entire EEC reflashed (or is this pretty much the same thing?)

Either is fine. I can reflash your FordChip if you have one.
