New headers

Ok so my 01 mustang is lowered and i was pulling into a parking lot that had a steep incline followed by a steep decline. This caused my header manifold to break right before it bolts up the the CATS. So know i have to buy a new driver side header or replace both of them with new headers. The cheapest i have found was Pacesetter headers that are black painted for like $120. I am partial to the BBK headers for like $369. Should I even buy new headers is it worth the money??? The guy was also saying about straight piping from the headers to the dual flowmasters which would take all 4 of my CATS out. Is that a good idea???

Re: New headers

What are your ultimate plans? If you're gonna leave it alone for a while pick up a set of 94-98 manifolds and call it done. Factory shorties for cheap.

If you're looking to go with head work or a supercharger in the future look for some good longtubes.

Longtubes will reduce your ground clearance however...making this situation more likely in the future.

Re: New headers

yeah i cant go with longtubes at all cause i already scrape just creeping over speed bumps. I think i am just going to go with some stock headers from the junk yard. unless i can find some good headers for cheap.
