Well I had a 30 min phone conversation with Pete at Fordchip tonight. He is saying I will be at 190 RWHP he said maybe 200 so I will kweep my fingers crossed. He did say if I had a 5 speed it woud be at or around 220RWHP. But he said that is not bad considering stock 5.0 mustangs dyno all day at 175 -180 RWHP. So I am optimistic.

Yes Pete knows everything. The Tranny will only really help in track times and means little on the dyno. His opinion on what I am going to dyno at is based on experiences with many cars with near Identical mods. Damn Tranny is going to keep me from hitting 200-220 rwhp

Corey,
That guy is clueless if he thinks that an manual is worth 20-30 ponies over an auto. SSM has dyno runs that show it to be worth 9 ponies on their stage 2 setup and 5 tq. Mags have also posted numbers that are closer.

Well guys I must say from the start I was VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED . The highest numbers were

139 hp

190 tq

Bit I have a few problems he is a full tuning shop(but not for fuel injected yet for another 30 days) So we found the plugs I have for nitrous suck and I had a bad one original numbers were 134.7 hp changed the one plug and got to 139hp.

The next problem is air/ fuel I am running way to rich here are the numbers

The fuel air ratio this is killing me We did compression checks and vacume checks and they were all good.

The power is there but the fuel problem has to be delt with. Damn that means getting a reburn from Fordchip and that will take a millennium to get back

Corey

Nitrous plugs should be too cold for an N/A motor. Use the Copper plus and round the front of the side electrode and set it so that it covers only 1/5th to 1/3 of the center.

The guy (will) said at the dyno, that the Mustang Dyno (name Brand) show 10% lower than Dynojet dyno's but the real culprit is the plugs for nitrous are to cold and I am loosing he said about 15 HP from them and the rest from the air fuel ratio being so way out

It is no one problem but 3

1. MD dyno reads 10% lower than Dynojet 10 % of 139 is 13.9
2. Fuel air is crazy out of line
3. Change plug to stock he said 15 HP min for the cold plugs

That would put me at 168 and still need the fuel fixed so I am on the right track to get this corrected

Corey

On a NA tune you can run 1 step colder on a copper plug. That is what was recomended for me.

And those Dyno's do register lower.

The Mustang Dyno is a 1.1 correction according to SSM so you are currently at 153 hp. Do the plug mod I told you about Corey. It was dyno'd for a fair amount of hp and crazy torque on a 5.0 (something like 20 ftlbs)

You are correct there Flex on the dyno he even told me I would be lower than I was expecting just not that much

I will do the plugs tomorrow

He has a nice setup though but it cost me 2 arms though

Gosh, that must have been some kind of a fluke, or Fordchip is just so busy I guess, everyone knows they never make mistakes, if something goes wrong with a car with one of there chips in it its almost always something the car owner or someone else did, never anything to do with the Fordchip. Sure, fluke, that must be it.

Arrogant attitude and not much concern about their f*3k ups. Like Oh well too bad, maybe next time sport. Customer service is a negative 5 bro.

Well I am in thought about a couple of options

1. dropping back down to 14# injectors and the fuel issue will be gone. I will loose some to the small injectors but will gain so much more not being so rich
2. in doing so I will sell the nitrous setup. I spent 400 on finding what is wrong and that was my highflow cats and Aluminum drive shaft and window tint DAMN
3.Go back to a F2 chip.

The general problem is with the 19# injectors loading up. I am pretty sure if I drop down to 14# I would probably not even need a chip even with the cam It might not be perfect but it would be better than now
