Temperature sensor?

Hey guys my friend owns a v6 2008 mustang and he has been having locating the air temperature sensor on his intake. Does anybody know exactly were it is?

I believe the IAT sensor is in the mass air flow sensor array Please tell me he not gonna install one of those resistors thats supposed to "trick the computer?"

most all the newer cars have IAT sensor built into the MAF sensor and tell your buddy not to do the resistor thing it's not gonna help only hurt

Hey guys thanks for the info and yes he wants to put that stupid arrey crap that tricks the comp I told him the same thing that it will hurt the car but he wont listen. What kind of complications is he going to run in to if he ens up putting it on? And yes thats a damn nice car how much have already spent on that monster man?

if he makes it show a high temp. he will lean it out. and a low temp. will make it run fat.
lean will melt spark plugs
rich will fowl plugs, burn lots of fuel, and wash out rings

as for the Chevelle about $45k

Didn't you know that melting the plugs is the new cool thing to do And I agree with the guys, sick car.....I have a weakness for old chevy's

I know I have 37K on the mustang and I'm on my 3rd set of plugs. 150 shot will do that.
