Re: front wheels

Get the 17x9s with the 275s. They look way better than 17x8s and only rub at full lock.

Re: front wheels

You should be able to turn all the way without any serious rubbing with the 17x9s. You may feel it contact the fender well but then just release the steering wheel a little bit.

Your current rims are a half an inch wider than the other rims, so you can't give them full lock. 1 1/4 sounds right for the 17x9.5s

Re: front wheels

I would go 17x8 in the front if the offset is where you want it vs the 17x9 so you can buy a 245 or a 255 tire (255 protects the lip better but is a little taller due to the 40 sidewall percent) and you wont have issues rubbing. The 9 wide will rub a little it depends on offset (5.95 or 6.11 offset will work fine) I mean its not horrible just a little rub~ dont full lock it

this is the specs for the front wheels :

17x8
Back Spacing: 5.72" (145mm)
Offset: +30mm (1.18")
Bolt Pattern: 5x4.5" (5x114.3mm)

or

17x9
Back Spacing: 5.94" (151mm)
Offset: +24mm (0.94")
Bolt Pattern: 5x4.5" (5x114.3mm)

the 9's rub at full lock in the swaybar or in the fender??

Re: front wheels

I have 18x9 with 275/35/18 toyo's at all four corners and I don't rub unless I'm turning in circles...lol. 275's are best size for 9 inch width rim.
