I'll think about the 100 shot. Has anyone heard anything good about Venom nitrous?

97Stallion, how good of a price can you get me?

All Stock! getting ready for some minor mods: tinting, new bumper and/or bodykit, 3:73 gears, underdrive pullies, tires (they're getting bad) considering new rims. Oh ya- gonna chip it. Thanks for all your suggestions and time answering my questions guys!

The Hyperatic Pistons, powder formed Rods cannot handle 150 every person I know with a stock rotating assembly who has 150 has had meltdown. Now a Thunderbird Supercoupe has forged rods and pistons and can handle the 150 shot and more

Due to the pistons and rods in a GT I would not go over 125 shot with a good chip or tune

There are only 2 kits I would recommend for a 3.8 mustang

Nitrous Works
Nitrous Express

Both are have kits specifically designed wet kits for Ford motors. Not like most generic or universal kits by most other companies

Now I'm wondering should I do a build up or just bolt on to the stock motor. :chin:

What i would personally do is buy everything you need and put it in the corner and install everything at once. Rip out the engine, install the new parts and then you'll save more money in the long run because you don't have to keep buying gasket and head bolts. Also, i wanted to add a cheap "mod" if you want to do this Dom, get a 180* thermostat. It won't really boost your hp, but a cooler engine doesn't allow the incoming air to get as hot with a cooler engine.

That's what I'm planning on. I'm gonna get everything that I need and yank the engine and do the build up and install a better clutch on it.

I was thinking about an aluminum driveshaft, but I'm worried durring a burnout that it will rip in two. How strong does Ford Racing make the driveshaft?

The aluminum driveshaft is EXTREMELY healthy, it'll take just about anything out 6 can throw at it. I have one in mine, you have nothing to worry about. You need M-4206-G or something like that. Not the "J" one

Cobra's come with Aluminum Drive shafts so I dont think a V6 is going to produce enough torque to rip it in two MUHAHAHHAHAHAHHA

Alot of the guys at school give me a hard time about the six. Aparently you get no respect for having 150 horsepower. Mostly in my shop class. They are always talking about how they own them in thier mom's Galant.

But one of the guys, haven't heard him talk trash about the Stang, has a 3000GT V6, 24V, 5speed. Has a Stage 3 clutch, billet flywheel, no cats, and CAI. He's about to load the bottom end up with all forged internal to run a big shot of N20 through it. He makes $20 an hour at his job. So I'm already down some here.

I wanna change the way people thing about the V6 Mustang. If I could edge out in front of him in a race I know people will rethink about my steed. I need every little bit of help I can get. Getting a sponsor would be great, but I don't think that is gonna happen. I'm not that luckily.

So I'm gonna need some help with some junkyard stuff here. Best rear end and all that stuff.

Guys you gotta help me out. I'm finally going after some performance mods now.
I can help, I know ALL the parts you would need, and how to spec out
anythig new needed, or find unique stuff...

Keep the rear end for now, they have handled 350 RWHP for extended
periods of time (pete has used one forever on his SC'ed 4.2- '99) and
figure out a complete goal FIRST. (Engine Mods) At the same time get
a realistic picture of your budget and if these match. (budget and goals)

if you are serious and realistic, but

if you are kidding yourself! I do not have time to waste...

I wanna do this. But I have to balance the appearance with the speed. Very little left on apperance.

The budget is gonna be slow for awhile until the Mustang gets paid off, then I'll have $225 back in my pocket again. So for right now with the engine, all I have planned is parts hording.

RGR guide me on what you think I need. :worship:

Will not work w/o a SPEEDKILLZ adapter kit, and that is still in R&D phase...

But I would only give $150 to 200 for a blower unit, for the 89-93 years.
Less if it needs rebuilt. SK has cores you can buy with the kit.
