In my own defense i have brand new tires so that could be an issue, too. Your modded pushrod v6 probably has a tad more grunt lower tahn mine. pushrod motors tend to fry tires better. i had a 91 camaro with 90000miles and a 305 TPI that would kill tires. Who KnowS?

I don't know. I guess if the hose is sturdy enough it would work. but don't take my word for it.

I would personally use something a little stiffer than Vacuum hose unless but as long as you use 2 or 3 small hose clamps you should be ok

DON'T use a Bic pen, and cut it to length, it'll work until you really just stomp on it, and POP gone. I have no idea where it went, but it's gone. Definitely go with the nylon spacer. If you can't afford 88 cents, seriously, why are you modding your car?... I guess the TOTAL comes to under $2 with the metal screw ties... but you get them in packages of 2 at Lowe's... so you can do two vehicles of your's, or sell them to a friend for $2, and then it was free to you ..... down with bums that are too cheap to spend $2 on the easiest mod there is!!.... very easy to do, a little challenging with the screw tie, and a screw driver, that you can stab yourself with... as I did... three times, but no blood. Anyway, much improved... and you adapt to it very quickly. It just feels more natural

a place like Lowe's .. plus it's less than $2... saving yourself 30 cents isn't exactly a high priority of most people if you KNOW Lowe's has them... you could save yourself that much in gas alone

I just finished the MOD!! It was a lil pain to do but worth it, I used a lil fuel hose and hose clamps, i had the fuel hose in my garage, and the clamps were 56cents a piece i used 2. I recommend this to anyone who hasnt done it yet.

Awesome mod! It drives like a different car!! Makes my heel-and-toes even easier. The mod might not have cost much to do, but it will cost in the long run with all the tires I am going to have to buy ! It's all good
