Overfilled A/C

I bought a kit that had a guage to measure the pressure in the compressor. After putting two 15 oz. cans I realize the guage wasn't working. Now when I turn on the a/c my compressor makes a loud noise. I was wondering if anyone knows of anyway to remove some of the freon?

idk if they use freon any more but whatever it is did the kit u got come with a hose that slides over the ac fill and a valve that screws onto the bottle. If so u can just remove the valve from the bottle and tighten it down. then put the line with the valve on the ac line and slowly crank out on it. it should let the coolant out. but dont let too much out. or u will have to fill it again.
