3.8 Supercharged Swap Issues

Currently have a 1989 Supercoupe 3.8 SC dropped in place in my 86 Mustang convertible. Bolted in okay, but I got a few questions though. Is there a company that can make my life easy by possibly supplying a plug and play wiring harness adapter or am I going to do this the old fashioned way of cut and splice? I have the wiring harness for the SC and the computer in place also. Its just hooking it up to the dash that is the nightmare. Then there comes the problem of finding aftermarket parts for the engine. I have only found a couple of websites. What am I really looking at power wise? I know my stock motor which was a 3.8 with the trottlebody sucked at 120hp and about 205ftlbs of torque. Anyone else on this site done this swap? No I don't want to go the 4.2 liter conversion yet I just want to get up and running first. Thanks.

Re: 3.8 Supercharged Swap Issues

As for the technical aspect of your swap, I would say your prob stuck cut and splicing those wires.

For performance...
Ported Blowers and such
Ford Thunderbird SC & Ford Lightning - Supercharger-Forced Induction Systems

Guy has a lot of swap parts, may be able to help you with the wiring harness
Super Coupe Performance Parts - Ford Thunderbird, Mercury Cougar, Lincoln Mark VIII (8) and Ford Escape

Last one I have for you
