Ses P0401

SES light came on today, went to get the code read..P0401, says EGR flow insufficient... any ideas guys?? everything seems to be fine, except for teh damn SES light being on. would it be harmfull to drive without sufficient flow through the EGR??

Sounds like it's clogged. Unfortunately, I have no expierence with the EGR. I do not know how to fix this problem, and thus can not tell you it is ok you drive it like that.

What you might need to do is take your EGR off your car and spray it down with some carb cleaner. Spray it inside the EGR and then let it sit a minute or 2 whileit eats at the carbon. Then if you shake it around a little you should see some little carbon chucks fall out.
