So I'm buying this supercharger..

Complete Ford SUPERCHARGER setup

That's it. An Eaton M90. I was wondering where I could find a rebuild kit and/or a Pulley for it? Also, I don't know jack about superchargers so please, break anything down in lamens terms.

Re: So I'm buying this supercharger..

Wouldnt recomend it. I would get a kit for an Eaton M112. After everything is said and done you will have about 10 more hp over stock with the M90. You would have to switch intake manifolds. Which would kill your power. Then you would bolt on the M90 and only have about 10 hp more than before the swap. You could even look into procharging it. Like a Vortec Kits. Or even a turbo kit. But i would not recomend an M90.

Thats why you need to do lots of research before buying s/c or turbo. Anything you put on your car, you need to know what exactly it does, how it works, and would it fit. This s/c is for sn95 not for new edge. What you need is Vortech, Procharger, or m112. You should also know that boost is not cheap! Here is what you need:

Well, I was buying this on a budget. I guess I'll do some more research and wait until the end of the month for my financial aid.

M112 is the better choice for boost on the v6. Or you could go with the other blowers if that's how you wanted to do it.

Re: So I'm buying this supercharger..

I know I saw where a guy had put the M112 on a v6 from mustangforums.com. It looked pretty sweet, but I don't have the fab. skills to pull it off.

Re: So I'm buying this supercharger..

To find a lot more about m112 setup go to 3.8mustang and mustangforum. Some of the members who actually developed this kit are mysteed, lilroush, ryansquickV6! You can learn alot from them!

Re: So I'm buying this supercharger..

Thanks guys, I really didn't know this was going to be THAT expensive. I figured around 3500 total. SuperSix has an upper intake manifold that's 1150 alone. Looks like I'm going to be waiting a little longer than expected. Thanks for all your help.

Actually turbo would be the "better" choice

Re: So I'm buying this supercharger..

Ok, I've decided to start buying the M112 kit in pieces from other users from this and 3.8mustangs. What I don't get from online I can get from Ford.

And yet again, I'm an idiot. If Nate would ever PM me back, I'll get the wheels rolling on my M112 install.

Re: So I'm buying this supercharger..

$1000 for a plate..... thats why im not doing a supercharger on the V6. and you have to get a new hood. for it to fit. unless you want holes in your hood.

make sure you think alot about what you are going to spend your hard earned cash on. i aslo know a guy who is selling a built cobra motor for a little over $5000. Just do as much research into this as you can.

Re: So I'm buying this supercharger..

19Delta i think you are trying to rush into this a little way too fast. i was in your shoes at one time when i had my v6. finally i sat back took a deep breath and realized it would be better to go with either a vortec or procharger. dont rush into this. and if your on a budget just remember things can break when you add boost.

How about you put your financial aid money to good use instead of wasting it on a car. Get your education and a job, then blow your money on toys. What a waste

Uh...I have more than enough from my financial aid to cover my tuition, books, and everything else. I also get a little back in the middle of the semester to spend on whatever.
