Re: window problem !?! help!

came you hear any noise inside the door when you press the switch? it soulnds like the window motor is locked up. you can try holding the window switch down and slamming the door at the same time if the window starts to work for a little bit. you need to replace the window motor. If you press the switch and you hear a bunch racket inside the door but the window doesn't move. you need to replace the window regulator.

Re: window problem !?! help!

You might have to pull the door panel off and tap on the motor. Used to do this on at least a weekly basis in my 02.

1994-2004 Mustang Door Panel Removal

Instructions on how to remove the door panel.

Once you get it removed, right behind the speaker pull back the plastic covering there. The motor is behind that, take a screwdriver or something and tap on the motor while pushing the up button, should unstick then.

Re: window problem !?! help!

I'm hoping I can figure it out. The Haynes manual seems to do a decent write up on it. Louis, you think the Haynes manual description will be sufficient to pull that bastard apart and get the new one in? I don't want to get half done and hit a rain storm and be ****ed.
