Lowering car question

Ok, i want to lower the car but have one fear, the front end. I am afraid the front tires are going to rub when i make any kind of turn. They're not rubbing now when i make turns, but i'm afraid they will when i lower the car. I want to drop it 1-1.5" and the front tires size 275/45. It's a 95 gt. Can anyone help me out. Thanks

Travis

Well, I dropped my 96 2" and nothing rubs, but I am running 205/60-15's, much smaller than yours.

The car won't sit like an import if that is what you mean. It will give the perfect lowering all around. It depends on what springs you go with like H&R or Eibach etc.

go with H&R, just pick the drop you want 1.25 is noticable but .... you will probably wont more. I just dont want to go any lower due to the issues with jacking up the car, or going over bumps you start to get into when you dive below the 1.5 drop area.

go 1.25-1.5 inch drop and run 17 by 8-17 by 9 rims and you wont have a problem.

my 275/40/17 tires on 03 cobra rims only rub at a full lock which you dont need to do anyway (bad for the ps pump)

I'm not looking for the import look, but tired of seeing the 4x4 look. I was looking for a 1.5" drop. Cool, thanks for the help guys.

dont pay more than 100 bucks for steeda springs... they are identical to c springs.
