While I won't drive the stang every day - I'll probably take it 2-3 times a week to work. I've read that 4.10 do fine, but make it a little higher revving in the RPM department.
I'm curious what some of you have for gears if you're in a similar commute situation.
yea 3.73 will drop your highway mpg by about 3 with 4.10s it would be worse, plus the drone will be worse... with 3.73s with aftermarket exhaust its going to be bad enough as it is
you won't be sorry !! It will be a nice kick in the ass .Just make sure you have a good shop do the install and don't forget about correcting the speedo
All the T5s used in the V8 Mustangs since 1985 have had the 3.35 1st gear. 1985 was the first year for the "World Class" T5. The only exception is the T5Z used in the Cobras which had the 2.95 first gear.
So it's safe to assume it has a 3.35 1st gear since he has said his car is stock.
