mass air info help please - Mustang Evolution

mass air info help please

ok so thinkin of going 24# injectors with a cobra mass air meter calibrated for that. do i need to mess with my comp? i see mass air meter ecu's being sold but not sure if thats just something my tuner can do. HELP!

IIRC I think as long as the MAF is calibrated for the 24# Injectors you should be fine. You should be able to have your tuner handle that and any other questions you have about the car.

with a cam getting the 5.0 to idle can be tricky just word of warning~

Just the MAF will work if it's calibrated for your injector size. The MAF computers are sold more for those with speed density (88 and older).

try to run your cobra housing with your factory electronics and see how it runs. you shouldnt need to do anything with the ecu. im assuming the cobra meter is a 70ml right? ive ran 30's with a cobra meter and stock electronics..and adjustable fuel pressure regulator. you shouldnt have any problem. at a later date though, you will wanna consider getting a specifically calibrated meter. my cobra works great with about any injector size i threw at it... i bought a pro-m.... and omg, it was a night and day difference. the cobra worked great...the pro-m was freak'n awsome!!!
