wheels and tires on 92 conv

hey guys after debating on an 06 and up were keeping the 92 drop top after paint and a new top we been looking at the 17 inch chrome pony wheels. can i run 17 x 10s in the rear? the car has been lowered with bbk springs will that be a problem too? were going for the widest we can put due to hp mods and a rear gear swap coming near future. thanks mark

i know for the front 17x8 is about the widest you should do, 9 will work in the front but not great, someone will chime in on the rear, i would be worried about fitment as well you dont want the wheel sticking out to far, and you may have to roll the rear fenders

DO THIS BEFORE THE PAINT JOB!!!!!!!

SpectorV thanks i was hoping to to run 17 x 10s and 17 x 6.5 in the front. The 17" chrome pony r wheels from 5.0 resto would look great we have the star wheeks polished and the inner triangles done in red. With a kenne belle and a 3.73 with a few other mods i need some meat on the rear end plus it looks damn good to have wides on the back and it being lowered too
