Trans fluid pressure problem?

Working on a deal right now that would bring me a 95 GT automatic. However there is a problem with the trans. As explained to me, the trans shifts just fine if you manually shift through the gears, and overdrive works, but if you put it in drive the trans sticks in gear unless you left off the gas. I'm thinking possibly a fluid pressure problem?? If i get it, it would receive a shift kit and flush, but would this take care of it? or am i looking at a valve body rebuild? I believe its the AOD-E wich could throw a wrench in my fluid problem theory Anyone know if the 95's had the AOD-E or just AOD?

Reading an old post here from brent, it sounds like it could be the TPS sensor. So thanx i will check that first.
