what mods do you have done? if it isn't stock there is going to be all sorts of differn't clutch options... there is still a ton for stock ones as well though.

the king cobra clutch is WAY to stiff for its limited holding power, you cant feather that clutch either... which REALLY sucks.

IDK I have always liked the King Cobra, but I love hard clutches.

I have a spec stage 3+. It takes some getting use to but you shouldn't be able to hurt it with the mods you have unless your just plain cruel to it

Therefore; I must not know his stuff, correct?

j/p

The Spec clutches are great and have proven themselves in many high performance vehicles. They have a lighter pedal and pedal travel on any clutch can be changed with a quad and adjuster. IMO I was very satisfied with my experiences in the King Cobra clutch, but each to his own. I am very used to HEAVY pedal clutches from heavy equipment and other machinery, but as it goes Each to his Own.

Re: Thinking of upgrading my clutch

I've just heard of way too many King Cobras lasting only a couple thousand miles on 300 rwhp cars. Not to mention the stiffness of the pedal.

I understand where your coming from, but IMO we have heard those stories on just about any part ever made for a mustang.... whether it be install error, other parts failure, or just a bad make.

and don't forget: User Error - I don't care what your talking about. The wrong operation or overkill will break anything!
