T5 swap price.

Wondering what everyone thought about my T5 swap i'm gonna do. I can get everything i need. trans, shifter, shifter boots, clutch, flywheel, bellhousing, pedal assembly, cable, harness, computer. All for a $1000 Now i haven't researched a lot on doing it yet, other than how to do it, whats needed. Its all factory ford parts from a 94 GT with 112,000 on the trans and about 40k on the clutch. I see lots of aftermarket parts made for them like cable, quadrant, shifter. What are the "necessary" upgrades from stock? My car is a DD including winters and my right foot is a little heavy giving me a few traction probs in the snow Stay with stock clutch or upgrade? I do want something that can be abused a little though.

Re: T5 swap price.

I understand a manual is better. I was under the assumption that he may of had a t-45, and maybe a t-5 was better than that and my t3650?

Re: T5 swap price.

What would happen if i just got a complete T-5 out of a fox body? I don't care about the clutch switch, back up lights, check engine light, etc. As long as it shifts and drives I can live with the rest. What exactly happens if i don't put a computer form a manual in?
