That is fairly easy to fix on a 5.0 it is a major overtaking on a 4.6 by comparison. Do both head even if one is leaking.

I want it done right... Id probably screw something up along the way, and just having someone else do it takes the load off my back. Its fine... I personaly think its a decently fair price... much better than other places would charge. Not to mention the guy thats working on the car has a built up 89 stang, so that makes me more content with the fact that he knows what hes doing.

he is gonna have more money to keep moding his 5.0 now also lol. It may be a high price, but if you dont feel comfortable doing it then in the long run it may be better off this way.

800 is a good deal for a gasket change

i've seen shops charge 1800... and some charge 600.
you'd have more chances of it being done right if you had done it yourself

4.6s aren't as hard as people say

I've replaced cylinder heads on mine

granted it was done out of car

in-car would be a huge PITA.. and you'd best use some damn good fender covers
I still have scratches on my fenders from taking the intakes off alone
