more fun with the car

Well my fuel pressure regulators shot, so I need a new one of those to fix my crazy a/f ratio thats going on. On top of that, the bolts that hold my midpipe to my catback decided they didnt want to be there anymore, so I have to crawl under my car and put some new ones on for that. Hopefully after those two things are fixed itll run like a champ and I can finally get some freakin numbers on it. I hate this whole troubleshooting thing, I just want it to work right

Re: more fun with the car

good luck with the regulator, the bolts on the mid pipe are cake. which ones the ones on the back by the mufflers or the ones on the head side? either are easy, just takes some patience to get a wrench on the top of the bolts on the header flange to tighten the nuts down. Ill be taking my exhaust off again this weekend or week if time permits, im a pro at this **** now lol.

Re: more fun with the car

I fixed the exhaust today, cost me a buck 27 and took about 10 minutes. Drove it around and I must say WOW. I must have had a leak for a long time cause it sounds a lot different now. I used to hear my exhaust from the side of the car, but now its only from the rear. That helped a ton. Now I just need to get a new FPR... but the damn things are expensive.
