Question What happened to all the 5.0 Mustangs GT for sale

1987-1993 But even less 1987 and 1988's. 1988 they made the most in production of Mustang GT's. Where have they all gone? Even in Ford Mustang auto trader very few available.:

They are slowly but surely starting to disappear. So many have been ragged out to the point of no return and are either sitting in someone's barn or sold for scrap. That's why the prices on the ones that are out there and in decent shape continues to rise.

Plenty of foxes out here. Unfortunately my buddy may be selling his project.

There have actually been a huge # of salvageable foxes popping up on craigslist, needing minor mechanical work but overall in good shape with clean titles.. if I had the buick sold I would definitely have picked up one.. or two..

check out the losangeles craigslist, you'd be surprised

another staggering comparison for you guys to consider... they made 19,140 03/04 cobras and now there are 14,133 that are currently not totaled, thats a 25%~ drop in only 7 years~

Those Mach 1"s of that time were also limited production with the shaker hoods. Very nice body but what are the asking prices? Are they still in good shape or are they all project cars like the fox body 1987-1993 5.0 Mustangs?
Salvage title no way Don't want no salvage title fox body:

Re: What happened to all the 5.0 Mustangs GT for sale

Those Mach I are up there in price with the 03/04 Cobras, expect around $14,000 for a nice one. I also remember seeing a 2001 Bullitt (albeit in pristine condition) at a dealership for $19,000!

It will probably be hard to find a foxbody that doesn't require some amount of work for a good price. I've seen rollers for $300, but for runners with some minor work, maybe a little rust or that needs a bit of a tune up for a a few grand.

mach 1's are generally 14-18k depending on condition and year they are nice cars, azure blue would be my choice.

Holy **** man, that's crazy! It'd be interesting to see the breakdown of totaled cobras to see what colors make up the majority...hopefully not sonic blue, competition orange and mystichrome Those seem to be some of the more rare colors (1 year productions and low vert. production) Though I have seen quite a few sonic blue and mystichrome wrecks online.

Where'd you find that out btw?
