So much work...and taking steps backwards...
Today, Bane and i were working on my 5.0. I got a new timing chain in it, prepped all of the gasket surfaces, and started bolting the heads on. Get through the drivers side head, bolts torqued down beautifully. Get the the passanger side, everything goes well untill i get to the last bolt. It just spun. Hole is stripped.
Havnt figured out what i want to do, i dont know if id trust a heli coil for a head bolt. Right now would be the perfect time to try to find an Explorer engine, get a cam, pop an intake manifold on it, and use all my previously bought items on it. Get a little more bang for the buck that way, but pulling an engine from an explorer in the junkyard definatly wont be fun
