a ? about my 95 stang plz help asap!!!!

what are the basic things that need to be done before you start upgrading and modify your engine i have already done a couple of upgrades like a msd distrubtor and bbk cold air intake i know two basic things that should be done or check is timing and compression what else should i do before going any further

next question being that i have a msd distrubtor and bbk cold airtake i really dont notice a difference in the car should i have it tuned since i have those parts on there or will tuning even make a difference at all with those simple upgrades plz help asap

Usually one of the first mods to do on a 5.0. You can go between 12-14 degrees on the timing, it depends on the octane you want to run in your car. I always kept mine @ 14 degrees. There is a computer module located where the factory airbox mounts. It's a little gray plug that has to be removed in order for the car to except the timing advance. Do you have an o/r mid pipe? If not it will help out alot also.

Gears. 5 sp go with 3.73 or auto go with 4.10 gears. Then get a intake manifold like gt40 or trickflow there are others but that a good start. Underdrive pullys. O ya if you get a intake manifold jsut hold off on switching it out untill you can find some heads to put on all at the same time. GT40 heads off explorer with be the cheapest way and still get good power
