Adjustable FPR's

I used to have one on my car, but then the guage started going crazy so I thought it was busted. It didnt matter what i had the pressure set at, the guage would sit at 60+ psi. I originally thought it was the regulator, so I took it off and put an OEM one on there since I didnt want to pay for another aftermarket one. Well after looking at the thing again today, I realize it was never leaking any fuel, and I saw the guage was sitting at 15 psi. WEIRD! Took the guage off it and it still sat at 15psi and I could shake the guage to change it anywhere between 5-15psi on the guage without it being hooked up to the regulator. Looks like Ive got a bad guage... so Im glad I didnt throw this FPR away... itll help later down the road Now just to get another guage..

Re: Adjustable FPR's

you can actually make your own FPR, I watched them on shade tree mechanic Alabama edition. They made one using chicken wire, a turkey baster, coat hanger, zip ties, two rusty bolts, one medium wing nut, and some welding from a sodering iron. Next week they will be performing a TBI swap on a 305 camaro. Stay tunned.
