Re: 93 cobra intake

Stock i think it is a 65 mm but your 70mm should fit and should work. depending on how much horsepower you have the 70 might be a little too large for your application.

Re: 93 cobra intake

As long as it has the 19 lbs. sample tube in it it will work. I have one for sale with the 19 lbs. sample tube. It is a 77 mm Pro M meter with the 19 lbs. tube and the stock sensor on top. You would just have to pay me and pay the shipping to wherever you are. This one worked good one mine when it was stock except for the 65 mm throttle body and e 303 cam. Now I have 24 lbs. injectors so it doesn't work right anymore. It was around 260 new.

stock is 65mm....you get the 5.0 mag? cause in this months issue they show you how to make the opening bigger on the intake. I suggest you take a quick look at it

Re: 93 cobra intake

Blairsville has a dragway there now. It has probably been there a long time. They need a track out closer to Altoona. There isn't anything closer than Blairsville. Ebensburg airport has an event once a year for drag racing an eighth mile on the runway. I hope my car is all dialed in till then. I need to get the computer tuned and some NOS till then.

Yes, it will work fine. I'd also recommend the polished Cobra intake.

Yes,it will work but the 70mm throttle body is overkill for a fairly stock application.

Re: 93 cobra intake

Don't worry about getting rid of the 70. It will be fine. It really does not make that much of a difference. You do not lose that much air velocity due to an oversized TB. Plus, if you ever upgrade later, it will be nice to have.

Re: 93 cobra intake

Your car should be into the 13's. The fuel system shouldn't be too much of an issue yet. The stock pump is made to work with the 19 lbs. injectors. Summit sales a summit brand in tank pump in 190 and 255 lph. The 190 is only about 94 bucks which is a pretty good deal considering what FMS wants for one. Holley sales an adjustable fuel pressure regulator from 25-85 lbs of pressure for below 40 bucks. That would be a good start on that. It doesn't come with a gauge though to read what you have it set at. I am currently running way to rich. I am probably running to much fuel pressure, along with my computer needing a good tuning, and I am ordering a new mass air meter which should straighten it all out.

Re: 93 cobra intake

going too large on the TB doesn't really effect power, but it does make drivability a *****

A typhoon and a GT-40 intake are two large for stock heads
especially the typhoon, its a really awful version of the edelbrock RPM (think BIG headed high RPM 302, or unatural aspiration)
